Abbott new high throughput clinical chemistry analyser has ARRIVED! The ARCHITECT c16000 has a maximum throughput of 1800 tests per hour and uses the same innovative technology as the popular ARCHITECT c8000. The analyser’s unique robotic sample handler (RSH) processes both routine and STAT analyses efficiently. In addition, the RSH enables full integration with an i2000SR immunoassay analyser, creating the ci16200 (as seen at Focus 2006). The c16000 uses the same proven Abbott clinical chemistry reagents as the c8000 and AEROSET and, despite offering twice the photometric throughput of the c8000, the c16000 is exactly the same size so will not take up valuable space in your lab.
