Abbott Diagnostics appoints Kim Atherton to Marketing role in ANZ organisation
Abbott Diagnostics today announced the appointment of Kim Atherton to the role of Product Manager, based in the Lane Cove, Sydney office. Kim's principal responsibilities will be for the Abbott ARCHITECT Clinical Chemistry range of instruments, including the recently released ARCHITECT c16000 standalone and ci16200 integrated platforms.
Kim has been involved in the medical diagnostics industry for over 20 years, commencing in her first qualified position as a hospital scientist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, before moving to London for a short time. Upon returning to Australia in 1994, Kim moved into sales and marketing roles, earning a strong reputation in the Clinical Chemistry area.
"Having come from a laboratory and understanding the challenges that face modern labs, I find it satisfying to work with customers, understand their true needs, and then to provide effective solutions which meet these", Kim said. "I am looking forward to working at Abbott, particularly with the new instrumentation available, which I know will be of strong interest to Australian laboratories."

Abbott Diagnostics appoints Lisa Martin to an Application Specialists role in the ANZ organisation
Abbott Diagnostics recently announced the appointment of Lisa Martin to the role of an Application Specialists, based in the Doncaster office, Melbourne. Lisa's principal responsibilities will be to provide customer support for the ABBOTT range of instruments, including the recently released ARCHITECT c16000 standalone and ci16200 integrated platforms.
Lisa has been involved in the medical diagnostics industry for over 10 years, commencing in her first qualified position as a demonstrator at the Siemens Science School – Griffiths University, Queensland. Lisa has a broad range of skills and has held many positions from scientific officer to Dept manager within institutions like DHM & St Vincent's Hospital - Sydney

Abbott Diagnostics appoints Adam Zembrzuski to an Application Specialists role in the ANZ organisation
Abbott Diagnostics recently announced the appointment of Adam Zembrzuski to the role of an Application Specialists, based in the Doncaster office, Melbourne. Adam's principal responsibilities will be to provide customer support for the ABBOTT range of instruments, including the recently released ARCHITECT SAPPHIRE & RUBY HAEMATOLOGY platforms.
Adam has been involved in the medical diagnostics industry for 3 1/2 years, commencing in his first qualified position at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne as scientist in the Core lab. Adam brings with him experience in paediatric, antenatal and general haematology.
"I'm looking forward to bringing a fresh energy to the Melbourne team. Together with my scientific experiences, I have a strong background in the customer support industry and I look forward to being part of the Abbott customer support team."
