12th Annual AIMS Haematology Discussion GroupTrivia night
On July 2nd 2007 Abbott Diagnostics was proud to sponosor the 12th Annual AIMS Haematology Discussion GroupTrivia night.
The evening was well attended with over 100 people from Haematology accounts all over Sydney and for the first time ever, Newcastle.
The newcomer, Hunter Area Pathology (HAPS) with its team organiser, Kent Chapman were determined to upset tradition by taking the trophy North for this year.
The evening was a tight run race with the two tradionally most successful teams, Royal North Shore and Royal Prince Alfred battling it out head to head with each other with no more than 1 point between then at the end of each round. The newcomers, HAPS though were just holding back in 3 place constantly throughout the evening.
In the last round, HAPS decided enough was enough and the trophy was heading North for the next 12 months and came from 3rd place to 1st to win the evening.
Congratulations to the winning team from both Abbott Diagnostics.
Abbott look forward to continuing the association with AIMS and look forward to seeing you all back for the 13th Annual Trivia night in 2008 to take on Hunter Area Pathology or see them defend their title.
